This scene was lit with that strange light that bathes everything just before a thunderstorm. If you look closely you can see the dark sky behind the trees. I was in an aluminum boat, which made it interesting when the lightning strikes began. Rain fell intermittently and the swamp was strangely quiet except for the sounds of distant thunder.
